"Take the 'A' Train" is a jazz standard by Billy Strayhorn that was the signature tune of the Duke Ellington orchestra.[1] In 1976, the 1941 recording by Duke Ellington on Victor Records was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.[2]
