Doraemon: The Record of Nobita's Parallel Visit to the West[2] (のび太のパラレル西遊記, Doraemon: Nobita no Parareru saiyûki), also known as Doraemon's Parallel Journey to the West,[3] is a feature-length Doraemon film which premiered on March 12, 1988 in Japan. It is loosely based on the 16th-century novel Journey to the West. It is the 9th Doraemon film and last Showa-era Doraemon.
Spider-Man gains some unlikely help from a gadget cat from the future and a couple of kids in this spectacular action-packed crossover. When Doraemon's latest gadget accidentally allows Spider-Man characters from the comics to enter our world all hell breaks loose! Now Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo must team up with everyone's favourite friendly neighbourhood web-slinger Spider-Man to capture his most dangerous foes and save the world.
