'Tsubasa Kurenai' (紅 つばさ, Kurenai Tsubasa?) is one of Ukyo Kuonji's suitors, who followed her to Furinkan after she left her old school. Despite appearing female, Tsubasa, like most of Ukyo's suitors, is actually a male cross-dresser.
As the characters are on vacation in Africa, Akane is kidnapped by a giant ape called Mfalme Sokwe, the legendary sacred guardian of Fuvu Mountain. It's up to Ranma and his friends to rescue her.
