The widowed Clayton Cooper felt alone, but one day he met the beautiful and nice girl Rose Gildfram. He falls in love with her, spends all his time with her. After a while, Rose disappears for a few days and Clayton searches for her, goes to different people, to Joe Waltz, who is a salesman at the store, to a cinema ticket seller named Franklin Wallace, waiter Jasper Palmer and best friend Hugo Fox, where he was at a party with her and asked them if they hadn't seen her somewhere, they said no one had ever been with him. Clayton Cooper suddenly begins to wonder if Rose Gildfram is really real. After a few days, Rose reappeared with the story of where she had been, Clayton loves her, but on the other hand, he's not sure if Rose is here at all. He found that her name could be changed to Girl of dreams by flipping letters. Decided to talk to Rose and ask if she is real. Rose says she isn't and that he was too lonely, so his subconscious made her up to make him not be alone and be happy. He says that when he was with her, he was happy, they both know it's time for Rose to leave. They cry and kiss, Rose begins to disappear with a kiss, and when Clayton opens eyes, she isn't there, hears her voice for last time, telling him to look for the girl in the blue dress. Clayton looks around, eventually finds a girl, looks exactly like Rose, but is real. She's Julie. He told her she don't know him, but he did, and he'd like to tell her about it, so he invited her for coffee, she said yes.
