The original X-Men team goes missing. Charles turns to his old accquitance Logan to track them down and bring them home. He's accompanied by Charles's other students Remy LeBeau, aka Gambit, Lorna Dane, aka Polaris, Kurt Wagner, aka Nightcrawler, Pitor Rasputin, aka Colossus, and Kitty Pryde, aka Shadowcat. Meanwhile on an island, the evil Mister Sinister experiments on the original X-Men team, with a particular intrest in Jean Grey and Scott Summers.
