Jean is resurrected by the mysterious Apocalypse. Jean, not knowing what's happened over the past few years, begins to be hunted by the Brotherhood of Mutants, before being saved by Wanda. Meanwhile, Scott and Madelyne's infant child goes missing. When Jean returns, confusion and heartbreak appears amongst the team, and a mysterious time traveler named Cable appears to help the X-Men in the coming battle against Apocalypse.
