After Gwen Stacy's death, Peter Parker falls into a deep depression, but later returns as Spider-Man when he investigates the monstrous Green Goblin. Meanwhile, Harry begins to suspect his father. Spider-Man helps the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four face other villains.
