Welcome to Kaloon, a kingdom where magic, black cats, and twins have been outlawed for generations. Hidden in plain sight, twin princesses Flissa and Sara survive by trading off royal duties to masquerade as a single girl, Princess Flissara. Sara is the clumsy extrovert, and Flissa is the quiet academic. Everything shatters when their mother, Queen Latonya, is struck down by a magical curse. Enlisting a brave servant boy named Galric and his plucky black kitten Nitpick, the twins embark on a dangerous quest into the dark, magical prison of the Twists to find the mage responsible. Their triumph over the curse only starts a new chapter in UnTwisted: with the truth revealed, Flissa, Sara, Galric, and Loriah must work to bring magic back to the kingdom. But navigating the new Magic Academy brings unexpected fractures to the sisters' bond as hidden enemies try to tear their unified world apart
