When lookalike twins Sebastian and Viola are separated by a devastating shipwreck, the latter finds herself stranded in the city of Illyria. Disguising as a page in order to support herself, Viola quite unexpectedly falls in love with her master, Duke Orsino. Impeded from revealing her feelings because of her male disguise, poor Viola also discovers that the man of her dreams is already miserably in love with Countess Olivia, a melodramatic woman who has forsworn the company of men. The drama increasing exponentially when Olivia, thinking Viola to be a charming young man, forgets her previous intentions and falls head over heels for HER!
