A live-action Assassin's Creed series has been officially greenlit by Netflix. The project will be led by creators, showrunners, and executive producers Roberto Patino and David Wiener. The series will focus on the classic battle between the Assassins and Templars, exploring themes of identity, destiny, power, and human connection across time. As of now, the specific historical setting, the main character's name was Earnest Eleuthere, the new Assassin of the Tudor dynasty under King Henry VIII of England as well as the member of the Templar Order and the exact details of the modern-day Abstergo plot or new Animus technology have not been officially announced to the public. The episodes will set in the same universe like the games, it will feature a modern-day storyline where characters use the Animus to explore Tudor England against the Templar influence.
