In certain franchises, it seems there is that one character, mostly villains, no matter how many times it looks like they have died, even from the most unsurvivable situations, like blowing up, or falling off a cliff into lava, THAT GUY!!!! ALWAYS!!!! COMES!!!!! BACK!!!!!!!!! Take a look at Dr. Eggman in the Sonic franchise and count how many times it looked like he died in the entire franchise. THAT'S what this trope is.
