Megamind is an alien refugee from the Glaupunk Quadrant, a reformed super-villain, and the current Defender of Metro City. He is the main protagonist of Megamind franchise. He’s also the last known member of his race. Eight days after his birth, his home planet was destroyed by a black hole. Before the planet was absorbed, Megamind's parents sent him off the planet in an escape pod with his caretaker, Minion, to Earth.
After making peace with the Bergens, reuniting different Troll tribes of music genre and also having a family reunion with their siblings, Poppy, Branch and their friends celebrate their freedom and peace together. Until, an mysterious but strange wormhole that creates portal to teleport and travel through parallel universes. Suddenly, Poppy and her friends accidentally teleport into an strange but exciting real world and meet new friends who helped them find a way to get back home.
