Basically Apollo got sent down to Earth by his father Zeus because he got blamed for something stupid Octavian did. He lands in a dumpster and meets a demigod, Meg who's the daughter of Demeter. Meg claims his service so now he is her servant and they go to the Jackson's house in NY. He then goes to camp, meets his kids (that he didn't know existed...) and almost dies multiple times. He and Meg save Grove of Dodona from destruction from Nero, Meg's evil Roman step father and one of the emperors in the Trimutive. After that Nero takes Meg back to the evil hide out (which doesn't come in until the last book). Then he gets a arrow that talks Shakespeare in his head. The they fight a giant naked bronze Apollo with Nero's face. And Percy's dog pees on its head. That's pretty much it.
