Transformers/G.I. Joe: Special Operations Joint is an adult-animated crossover television series trademarked by Skybound Entertainment and Hasbro Entertainment, written and conceived by Joe Henderson and Robert Kirkman respectively, and produced by Box Canyon Productions (successor to Rooster Teeth Productions, LLC) for Netflix. It is loosely based on the Energon Universe timeline.
Inspired by "Mobile Suit Gundam", "Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters", "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman" and "A.T.O.M.", it focuses on the Autobots and G.I. Joe working together to protect the Earth from the villainous Decepticons led by their general Starscream, who strive to free their leader Megatron from prison.
