Astrotrain is a Decepticon Triple Changer, who acts as Shockwave's loyal right-hand 'bot and transforms into a train and a Cargo Plane. In this Anime Prequel, he is ordered to capture Yukio as she knows where N.E.S.T. and the Autobots have stored the Device. After failing to Capture her, Astrotrain would participate in the Invasion battle where he kills a lot of N.E.S.T. soldiers and an Autobot and would face of against Optimus Prime, Yukio, and Bumblebee, with the latter crippling him and Astrotrain would eventually be finished of by Yukio who shoots him in the head with her M203 Grenade Launcher.
