8 years later after an invasion that tore Chicago apart, a young-adult mechanic and his fiancée discover Optimus Prime, which brings down all the Autobots, Decepticons, and a paranoid government agency upon them. But when Megatron and the Decepticons raise up a new army long buried, it becomes a greater threat than any side could've anticipated....is Earth doomed?
