A critique of the 2022 spinoff film “Lightyear”. Buzz is gripped with the reality that he’s old-fashioned and dated. The new Buzz Lightyear reboot recently came out in theaters, and it really gets under his skin how much they got wrong with him and his stories, how Zurg is supposed to be Future Buzz instead of his father. Even though Buzz is aware that he’s a toy, he becomes a butthurt ex-fan.
