Mariah Iman Wilson was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her natural talent for the arts was displayed at age two, when she began training and performing at Plumb Dance School in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Total Drama is an homage to and parody of common conventions from reality television. All of the contestants have distinct personalities that serve as main plot points with the characters consisting of the eponymous fictional reality series and the contestants therein. The style of this series is similar to that of Survivor.
