Lee Byung-hun (이병헌; born July 12, 1970) is a South Korean actor, singer and model. He has received acclaim for his work in a wide range of genres, most notably Joint Security Area (2000); A Bittersweet Life (2005); The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008); I Saw the Devil (2010); Masquerade (2012); Inside Men (2015); The Man Standing Next (2020); and the television series All In (2003), Iris (2009), Mr. Sunshine (2018), and Our Blues (2022). He has received multiple awards and nominations throughout his career. In the United States, he is known for portraying Storm Shadow in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009) and its sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013). His other notable Hollywood films include Red 2 (2013), Terminator Genisys (2015), and The Magnificent Seven (2016). He also appeared as the Front Man in Netflix hit survival series Squid Game (2021–2025).

For thousands of years, the Foot Clan and the Hamato Clan had been at war over the Kuro Kabuto, a helmet created by an interdimensional race known as the Utroms, which has the ability to cause mass destruction. Eventually, Usagi Yojimbo of the Hamato Clan manage to steal the helmet from the Foot Clan, but was forced to kill Grandmaster Oroku, and was mutated by an Utrom in the process. Feeling guilty about leaving Oroku’s infant son without parents, Yojimbo took him to the Hamato Clan, where he raised him alongside the descendant of the clan’s founder. Now, the year is 2011, and the Foot Clan has resurfaced. Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi, the latter of whom has a wife and daughter, are the two best senseis of the Hamato Clan, and stop at nothing to destroy the Foot Clan. That is until its new grandmaster reveals the truth to Oroku Saki about his heritage, causing him to steal the Kuro Kabuto and use it to exact revenge on Usagi Yojimbo, with only Hamato Yoshi standing between them…
