Henry Percy McAdam (10 August 1875 - 21 November 1916) is a German journalist who grew up in a Boarding School with friends Robert Haundwhitch & William Ediths III; who remained lifelong friends until they were all on Titanic's maiden voyage in April 1912. Percy has a twelve-year-old-daughter Dorothy, with his late wife, Lucy, who died in 1911 of what in 1996 is revealed to have been malaria. Before this; though, Percy had been the author of a teen and young adult novel series known as Eddie Arrington; along with hundreds of other novels, newspaper articles and journalizations. Colonel Archibald Butt, who had read one of his novels, and introduced Percy's writing to President William Taft; who would commission a drama novel, which Percy would write during his stint on the Titanic.
