A major recurring villain in the Tintin franchise, often considered to be Tintin's archenemy. Rastapopoulos is an Italian-American man (despite coming from a Belgian comic and having a Greek surname) who initially poses as a movie director before it's revealed that he's the ringleader of a massive smuggling ring. He goes on to commit many other crimes all for the sake of money.
