Cecily Legler Strong (born February 8, 1984) is an American actress and comedian who was a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 2012 to 2022. She was born in Springfield, Illinois, and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, an inner-ring suburb of Chicago. She is the daughter of Penelope and William "Bill" Strong, who worked as an Associated Press bureau chief and is now managing partner at a Chicago public relations firm. Strong's parents are divorced. Strong grew up adoring SNL as a child, reenacting sketches with her friend and watching old SNL commercials on VHS. "I had a tape of the best commercials, and I wore it out every day." She has stated that Phil Hartman inspired her. She attended Oak Park and River Forest High School before transferring for her senior year to the Chicago Academy for the Arts, where she graduated in 2002. She then studied acting at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), graduating in 2006 with a BFA in theatre. After graduating from CalArts, Strong returned to Chicago, where she studied at the Second City Conservatory and iO Chicago. Sally and Brock bumped into each other and it was love at first sight. They get along really well and hit it off right away. Now they've been dating for two years and it's time for Sally to introduce her boyfriend to his parents, who plans to propose to her. Sally plans a weekend with her parents at the Four Seasons Resort in Colorado's Rocky Mountains ski area. Brock doesn't really want to do it, but he loves Sally, so he agrees, but he has no idea what awaits him and what Sally's family is like. While Sally's mother Annabeth and older sister Violet are happy, her father Joe has the same opinion, calling Brock "fu.king skiing." Sally is worried about how her father and Brock will get along, and so is Brock. He reveals that he is a skilled guitar player, has a hard punch, and is also a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, just like Joe. Annabeth, Sally's mother immediately falls in love with Brock. The film is full of comic situations which belongs to the topic. Sally's sister Violet, decides to test Brock up a bit and seduce him to make sure he doesn't cheat on Sally. When they're all at one band's concert, entering the resort, the guitarist gets hurt, so the band asks for help from someone in the audience, Sally gets Brock to help, He shows that he really rocks the guitar. Everything turns out perfectly, and even if there is a misunderstanding, Sally suspect Brock of having something with ski instructor, everything is explained. Brock asks Sally for her hand, she says Yes.
