Spiderman (1989) - A Dark yet faithful adaptaion of the character, hailed as both a crowdpleasing blockbuster and a film that might not be suitable for small children.
Spider-man Returns (1992) - An indulgent, significantly darker Sequel that is well-reviewed and loved by fans, but is not as big as a hit. Remembered for weird choices such as making the Vulture a gross and creepy outcast, and including an affair between Spider-man and the significantly older Black Cat.
