Vicki will finally reappear in the film's opening, doing a story on the recent rehabilitations at Arkham Asylum, when in actuality she's investigating the rumors around Strange's death and Crane's Abuse Allegations. She will re-connect with Bruce throughout the film but they don't get back together, Vicki not wanting to lose Bruce to his crusade and feeling the crusade is doing more harm than good. She investigates Arkham, discovering Crane's experiments and helping Batgirl. She's one of the voices who helps Bruce overcome his hallucinations, seeing just how much him being Batman has meant for the Batfamily. At the film's end, she and Bruce part on better terms, remaining friends
