Fan Casting Nightwing / Dick Grayson in Tim Burton AND Joel Schumacher's Batman Unchained (1999)

Dick will just start operating as Nightwing by the beginning of the film. Now that he has the independence that he craved in previous film, Nightwing begins to operate in Gotham's sister city of Blüdhaven, only being drawn back to Gotham when he finds a lead on the Scarecrow. When affected by Fear Toxin, he would be overcome with the fear and guilt he felt when his parents died, flashing back to that night. He would overcome that fear when he spares his hallucination of Two-Face, showing that he has overcome that anger and grief from all those years ago. By the film's end, saving Gotham and Blüdhaven better establishes Dick as Nightwing and as the latter city's protector
