An American adaptation of the 1960s manga and anime titled Tiger Mask. The series tells the story of a masked wrestler nicknamed Tiger Mask. In the ring, Tiger Mask is played by John Evans (In the manga and anime Naoto Date), who escaped from an orphanage years ago. After his escape, he became an adept of a secret organization called Tiger Cave, which trains wrestlers in extreme conditions and favors brutal play and breaking the rules of fair play in wrestling. The plot of the series is based on the conflict that occurs between Naoto and the Cave. The conflict with Tiger Cave is not "ideological" (it is not about the style and manner of fighting), but financial. Tiger Mask, as a graduate of Tiger Cave, was obligated to donate half of his income earned from fighting in the ring to the organization that trained him. Because he did not pay his obligations on time, the Tiger Cave sent Mr. X as a creditor to force the main character to repay the "debt." Tiger Mask pledged to him to settle the dues, but instead of giving the money to Cave, he used it to save the orphanage where he spent his early childhood. Now Mr. X is sending his warriors to deal with him in the ring.
