Ress was a guard at the Glass Palace in Rifthold. He often served as Celaena Sardothien's guard while she was the King of Adarlan's Champion and became fast friends with her. He was never able to hide his blush when he was around her. After the events of Heir of Fire, Ress and Brullo acted as spies for the rebels and passed on information to Chaol. In Queen of Shadows, Chaol and Aelin found Ress, along with Brullo and Chaol’s closest men, hanging from a fence in the entrance to the Glass Palace in Rifthold, dead.
