Tony’s nephew and Valley Day’s enthusiastic physical education director, whose claim to fame is that he was once scouted for Major League Baseball drafting. Not unlike his uncle, he is usually the butt of the joke at the hands of Lou and Danny, who find amusement in poking fun at his all-too-serious, nearly-robotic nature. However, upon Bobby’s arrival, they realize they just might make a natural person out of Matt yet. Tall and quite muscular, with tan skin and black curls.
