Alfonso Cuarón Orozco (US: /kwɑːˈroʊn/kwar-OHN; Spanish: [alˈfonso kwaˈɾon]; born 28 November 1961) is a Mexican filmmaker. His accolades include four Academy Awards, seven BAFTA Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards. Cuarón made his feature film debut with the romantic comedy Sólo con tu pareja (1991) and directed the film adaptations A Little Princess (1995) and Great Expectations (1998). His breakthrough came with the coming-of-age film Y tu mamá también (2001), which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. He gained greater prominence for directing the fantasy film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), the dystopian drama Children of Men (2006), the science fiction drama Gravity (2013), and the semi-autobiographical drama Roma (2018). The latter two won him Academy Awards for Best Director. He also won Best Film Editing for Gravity and Best Cinematography for Roma. Synopsis: Asgard, the kingdom humans on earth thought was a myth, but it could not be further from the truth. The kingdom is home to the Asgardians. Odin has ruled over Asgard for several thousand years, and it's time for another person to become regent over Asgard. Thor and Loki, Odin's two sons, have a quarrel over who will take over the throne. According to the prophecy, Thor will take over the throne, which Loki does not like. The day is approaching when one of the two brothers will take over the throne. Thor and Loki continue to quarrel, and it goes so far that Loki manages to bring Thor to earth through the Bifrost bridge. Loki is appointed king of Asgard while Thor is stuck on earth without his hammer. Thor meets a kind doctor named Jane Foster on earth. After a long and rigid conversation, Jane decides to help him find his hammer. The hammer is located in a base, where the hammer is seen as a trophy. Thor breaks into the base and takes back his hammer, this makes him worthy again and can return to asgard. He quickly notices that there is chaos in Asgard and decides to confront his brother. They fight each other, and Thor finally manages to defeat his brother with the help of Sif and Heimdall. Thor returns to his righteous place, as King of Asgard. Post credit place: On one of Thor's many visits to Earth, he meets a man named Nick Fury. He wants to recruit him to a 'superhero team' as he has incredible powers.
