After dealing with his duties with the Avenging League, Thor returns back to Asgard, where he is visited by Hecate, who warns him that Malekith has allied himself with Ares, to unleash fury and dissolve the peace between the gods of Asgard, the Olympus and A’Aru. He soon partners with Wonder Woman and Moon Knight, the Avatar of Khonshu. But by the time they team up, Hercules is already after them because he believes that Thor provoked the war, with some interference causing this belief.
