Thor, the arrogant Asgardian prince, is exiled to Earth after an impulsive attack on the Jotunheim giants, which provokes war with the Frost Giants. Stripped of his powers and Mjolnir, he lands in New Mexico. During his time on Earth, Thor learns humility and begins to embrace the responsibility of his birthright. Meanwhile, Loki, Thor’s adoptive brother, secretly conspires to use the Tesseract to open a portal to summon Thanos’ army to Earth. Thor, now more grounded, fights alongside Jane Foster, Erik Selvig, and S.H.I.E.L.D. to stop Loki’s plan. As Thor earns back Mjolnir by proving his worth, he faces Loki in a battle that ultimately prevents the portal from opening. Loki, in the aftermath, flees and is presumed dead. Thor, now more mature and selfless, is crowned as a true hero. The cosmic threat of Thanos looms, setting the stage for future conflicts. Post-Credit Scene: Loki, thought to have perished, is revealed to have survived. He manipulates Dr. Erik Selvig, into studying the Tesseract, hinting at a larger plan.
