Michael Wayne Rosen is an English children's novelist, poet, narrator and the author of 140 books. He served as Children's Laureate from June 2007 to June 2009. He has been a TV presenter and a political columnist.
Based on the book series by Wilbert Awdry and Christopher Awdry, focusing on the antics and adventures of a group of engine on the North Western Railway (Island of Sodor).
