1. For Trolls, visual effects with people wearing VFX suits with the tiny dots, 2. same goes for Goblins, unless we use practical effects like back in the old days, and their weapons will have slightly curved handles, to show that they bent the Goblins' weapons like in the book. 3. The Wargs (or wolves) the Goblins ride, however, are either VFX or machines like those mechanical rodeo rides. 4. Gollum needs to be as described by the book, but still believable and realistic. And he will have some sort of clothing on. And we would need someone to do the voice, but someone else for the body
