In a world where human evolution has given rise to mutants with extraordinary abilities, Charles and Erik begin assembling a group of mutants to save humanity. So Charles’ invents a machine to bring together a motley team of mutants, including Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Angel and Iceman. With their extraordinary and uncanny superhuman abilities they call themselves, the X-Men. Together, they fight to protect a world that fears and discriminates against mutants rather than venerating them as its saviors.
