Libycosuchus is an extinct genus of North African crocodyliform, a group of reptiles that includes modern crocodiles and their fossil relatives. Living in the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 95 million years ago, this terrestrial animal was a member of the notosuchian group, known for its similarity to other notosuchians like Notosuchus and Simosuchus.
