Tienshanosaurus was a medium-sized, herbivorous sauropod dinosaur that lived in China during the Late Jurassic period, approximately 163 to 157 million years ago. Named "Tienshan lizard" after the Tianshan Mountains where it was discovered, this dinosaur is known from fragmentary remains, including postcranial bones and an egg. While its exact classification has been debated, recent consensus places it within the Mamenchisauridae family
