Ophiussasuchus is an extinct genus of goniopholidid crocodylomorph from the Late Jurassic of Portugal, named after the ancient Greek name for the region. The type species, Ophiussasuchus paimogonectes, was described in 2024 based on a well-preserved, nearly complete skull. This medium-sized crocodylomorph, estimated to be 2.5 to 3 meters long, possessed a distinctive flattened, mesorostrine (medium-snouted) skull and shared characteristics with both earlier Jurassic and later Cretaceous goniopholids.
