Kansas farm girl Dorothy Gale and her dog, Toto, are transported by a tornado to the magical Land of Oz. After her house crushes the Wicked Witch of the East, Dorothy follows the yellow brick road to the Emerald City to ask the Wizard for help returning home. Along the way, she befriends a Scarecrow needing a brain, a Tin Woodman desiring a heart, and a Cowardly Lion seeking courage.
