Upon his escape from Cagliostro, Lupin runs into Tintin and Captain Haddock, who tell him they were sent from Belgium to spy on his activity in the country. However, knowing he helped save Cagliostro's rightful heir AND exposed a global fraud scheme, they help sneak him out of the castle border.
