When zoo-dwelling lion cub Ryan wanders off and accidentally gets shipped to Africa where animals are being released into the wild, His father Samson (Voiced by Joe Manganiello) rounds up some animal friends which consist of:An elephant named Jemima (voiced by Scarlett Johansson),a squirrel named Benny (voiced by Justin Long),a giraffe named Bridget (voiced by Amy Adams),a grizzly bear named Trevor (voiced by Chris Pratt),a koala named Nigel (voiced by Peter Kay),a zebra named Justin (voiced by Jesse Eisenberg),an orangutan named Wilbur (voiced by Bobby Moynihan), a tiger named Sabrina(voiced by Hayden Panettiere), and a snake named Larry (voiced by Charlie Day) and embark on a journey to rescue his son. Their rescue mission is fraught with danger, both from natural phenomena like volcanos and from animals, and as they continue their search for the missing cub they rediscover long-dormant survival instincts.
