Marco Beltrami (born October 7, 1966) is an American composer of film and television scores. He has worked in several genres, including horror (Scream, Mimic, The Faculty, Resident Evil, The Woman in Black, Carrie, A Quiet Place, and The Nun II), action (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Live Free or Die Hard, World War Z), science fiction (I, Robot, Snowpiercer), Western(3:10 to Yuma, Jonah Hex, The Homesman), and superhero (Hellboy, The Wolverine, Logan, Venom: Let There Be Carnage). A long-time collaborator of Wes Craven, Beltrami scored seven of the director's films, including the original four Craven-directed films in the Scream franchise (1996–2011). He has also worked with such directors as James Mangold, Guillermo del Toro, Tommy Lee Jones, Alex Proyas, Ole Bornedal, Kathryn Bigelow, Bong Joon-ho, Dan Gilroy, and John Krasinski. He has been nominated for two Academy Awards for 3:10 to Yuma (2007), The Hurt Locker (2008), and a Golden Globe Award for A Quiet Place (2018). He won a Satellite Award for Soul Surfer (2011) and an Emmy Award for Free Solo (2018). Set between season 2 and season 3. follows Jonathan Pennyworth and The Wild Geese as they are dispatched to a thriving town with a hidden past. In ages long past, this town was a place where mortals and vampires coexisted peacefully. The central focus of the town’s mystery is a beautiful female vampire who has been sleeping for hundreds of years after being bitten by an ancient vampire. She neither wakes nor ages, residing in the town’s abandoned hospital ward. The peace of the town is threatened by the murderous vampire brothers, Harold and Duncan, who aim to awaken this sleeping vampire. They believe her powers, being the result of her connection to a powerful ancient vampire, will be pivotal in their plan to destroy the Cross Organization and seize control of the vampire nation. As The Wild Geese investigate and attempt to navigate the complex dynamics of the town, they encounter not only the vampire brothers but also the intricate and hidden desires of the town’s inhabitants. The town's once peaceful veneer is soon shattered as conflicts erupt. The Wild Geese face off against the vampire brothers in a battle that not only tests their combat skills but also challenges their understanding of the thin line between dreams and reality. As they confront the dark forces threatening the town, they unravel layers of deceit and hidden desires that complicate their mission.
