A newly transferred Gotham cop with a pregnant wife and a young daughter, Gordon is stubborn, idealistic, and already exhausted. He refuses Loeb’s corruption, gets beaten by Flass, and is saved by a cloaked stranger. He tracks Batman, lies to protect him, and finally arrests Falcone side‑by‑side with the vigilante. Gordon is a blue‑collar bulldog—bleeding, swearing, and refusing to quit.
