Vito later got to know them better, and together they decided to start a company to trade in olives. And he soon began to prosper. Vito Corleone sometimes helped himself a little illegally. At that time, the Fanucci mafia lived in the vicinity of Vito's house, who took the local Italian quarter as his territory and demanded income from every business - whoever refused had problems with his people. And that's why one day Vito Corleone waited for Fanucci and killed him in the dark streets of the city. Later he learned something he didn't expect - first Santino's son saw him doing it.
