Horace acted as an armed guard in a prison facility holding only the most dangerous of criminals. As no weapons were allowed inside, Horace had his right hand replaced by a high-tech assault rifle. An expert marksman, Horace was allowed only one bullet. He was posted at the room containing Bullseye. Horace watched happily from behind glass as Hoskins punched Bullseye repeatedly. When a tooth was dislodged, Bullseye spit it into Hoskins' skull, killing him. Horace opened the glass, firing on Bullseye, who deflected the bullet into Horace's eye, killing him.
