One year after his recovery, Percy Dustin has finally given up being the Vengeance Man. Although his injuries from the Sniper are still present, he's recovering quite well. Now hanging up the costume, he can finally get back to his normal life as being a college student. However, Captain John Christmas of the NYPD has been shot and killed in the line of duty because of protecting an innocent bystander. Hearing of the news, Percy, Peter, and Rachel, along with Sarah and Addison (Peter's girlfriend), they all go to John's funeral. Wanting to find out who shot him, Percy goes and gets his costume one last time to figure who the killer is and why he had to kill John. But, one of Percy's actions gets someone closest to him kidnapped and possibly even killed in the process.
