Alan Howarth (born August 6, 1948) is an American composer and sound designer. He is a frequent collaborator with film director and composer John Carpenter.
The Valley of Gwangi is a AlecZillafilm's remake of the 1969 fantasy-western dinosaur film of the same name, with creature effects by the Jim Henson Creature Shop. However, the remake takes on a gruesome and darker turn as a horror movie.
