The United Canines of America is an American animated television series created by Doug Lawrence and developed by Lawrence and Rachael MacFarlane for Nickelodeon. Set in a fictional world where all countries on earth are portrayed as humans, and their states or provinces and territories are portrayed as their pets, the series centers on a human girl named America (based on the United States), who has 50 dogs (with each of them based upon and named after all 50 U.S. states).
