Inspired by Cars and Shark Tale, but darker, set in the late 90s/early 2000s. Arrogant race car driver Leroy McRoy thinks he’s untouchable until mob boss Edward Peretti starts targeting him for murder to ensure his golden child son Frankie wins, causing Leroy to run away to a small town in Oregon to escape. Unbeknownst to Leroy, Edward sends his black sheep son Leonardo to finish the job. Leo, going by the inconspicuous name of Kenny O’Brian, attempts to earn his father’s affection through his mission as a hitman. Little do they know, the town they’ve arrived at is actually a prison experiment for convicted criminals to simulate a regular neighborhood under supervision, with this particular group patch including some of the most reprehensible people in need of redemption. Of course, both Kenny and Leroy find themselves home in this small town where everyone is both awful and redeemable.
