After the death of Peter Parker, news gets around fast: Spider-Man has died spreads throughout headlines. The Defenders aren't sure what to do because with the death of Spider-Man villains have been appearing more left and right. Meanwhile Wilson Fisk has cut ties with Baron Zemo leading to S.H.I.E.L.D gaining enough evidence to do a full sweep of Hydra's U.S bases as well as shut down Intelligencia. Now with no other factors weighing him down, Fisk goes into over drive as he sets out to ruin Matt Murdock's life. Matt and Frank Castle have to work together as they fight off Fisk's forces like Bullseye, Kraven the Hunter, and Taskmaster. Eventually they beat all 3 and Matt faces Fisk head on leading to a fight in Fisk Tower where Frank manages to broadcast the fight to the public and when he gets the upper hand on Matt, Fisk realizes everyone knows who he is now, a criminal, a thug, the Kingpin. The cops arrive and arrest Fisk while Matt has to go on the run, now a fugitive. In the post credits scene we see the symbiote as it now without a host, makes it's way into the home of Colonel Flash Thompson.
