Peter Parker opens his eyes, last thing he saw was Wilson Fisk throwing him off a tower. He can feel the symbiote not with him anymore. He's on an operating table. He looks up and sees a woman, she turns and tells Peter they got him out of there before anyone could take his body for testing, they all believe he's dead. She introduces herself as Jean Grey and tells him she thinks he'd do some good with the X-Men. That's when someone Peter does know walks in: Wolverine. Logan tells Peter the Defenders can wait, they need help. He asks how he survived the fall and Logan explains there's more to Peter's powers than he might think, they did tests, the spider bite didn't give him powers, it unlocked them, he's a mutant. Peter and Logan team up as Logan explains Magneto and the Brotherhood of Mutants have been prepping a secret attack on the United Nations. They have to sneak into the Brotherhood's home base, and take them down from the inside.
